Riverworn

Woodturning, Sculpture, and Organic Design

Riverworn is an evolving collection of bespoke woodcraft, born from a deep reverence for the natural world and organic splendour.

My work is a gentle dialogue with raw materials. I work with salvaged timber to create unique pieces of art for the home and the spirit.

A glimpse of my current works

My current works include a series of Riverworn Wands – sacred talismans, mindfully crafted from salvaged timber, accompanied by crystalline stone, leather off‑cuts, and ethically sourced feathers.

See the wands

What goes into each wand

Weathered timber grain, cracked and glowing rust, ochre and blue

Timber

Intuitively turned on a lathe, each handle decides its own shape of sweeping dips and curves.

Feathers

A symmetrical fan of ethically sourced plumage, each plume carrying the memory of flight.

A banded amber agate set in leather at the heart of a wand, with a turquoise stone below

Stone

A prominent central gemstone, accented with wooden beads, bone, shells, and filigree findings.

The box

The Sanctuary Box: handcrafted timber, brass-toned hinges and a padded velvet bed for your wand.

I grew up surrounded by the pristine waterways of the Never Never river, ancient canopies, and the mist-veiled valleys of the Promised Land.

Nature remains my greatest muse, my wisest teacher, and the true inspiration behind Riverworn.
